Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The TPMS on many newer cars and trucks needs to be reset when a tire is replaced or rotated. Our expert technicians can reset your TPMS, no problem. If needed for your car or truck, we'll also replace any gaskets or other parts when we install or rotate your tires.

What it is: TPMS systems are standard on most newer cars and trucks. They alert you if your tire has low pressure or is flat. Flat tires cause accidents. Low tires make the engine work harder and use more gas. TPMS systems improve safety and mileage.

Benefits: The TPMS system alerts you when your tires are low on air so you can top them off. (You should still check air pressure by hand each month, as well.)

There are many different kinds of TPMS systems. Most have a TPMS sensor attached to your wheels to detect when the tire pressure is low. Some TPMS sensors have to be taken off the wheel during a tire change. This may require new gaskets and other parts. Learn more about how TPMS works.
