Michelin's best-selling light truck tire. It can shoulder heavy loads and support trailers, while giving long wear and true all-season traction.
How it's done: The treads on these long-wearing tires are formed of silica-enhanced, all-season compound. Its tread profile evenly distributes acceleration, braking and cornering forces for solid handling. Chunky tread blocks with lots of sipes deliver all-season traction on dry roads and in bad weather. Wide channels, multiple grooves and open shoulder slots push water away from the footprint for wet traction and stopping performance.
Inside, twin steel belts (three steel belts in Load Range D and Load Range E sizes) provide the strength and durability needed to handle heavy loads: up to 13,000 lbs.
NOTE: The LTX M/S2 Highway All-Season tire is NOT a dedicated winter / snow tire. It does not meet the severe snow traction requirements and is not branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.
